GSDCAtlanta is offering Dog Obedience Classes:

Start: Tuesday, Feb 4th 2014
(END DATE NOW MARCH 18 DUE TO WEATHER CANCELLATION FEB 11)

Classes: Each Tuesday

Enrolment: 7:00 p. m.

Start Time: 7:30 p.m.

Format: Classes meet once a week for 6 weeks, each class lasting one hour.

Cost:

  • Club Member Cost: $25
  • Non Club Member Cost: $75

Classes to be offered:

  • Puppy (building vocabulary and experience)
  • Canine Good Citizen obedience (sit, down, come, controlled walking, stand)
  • Ring Prep for obedience and rally titles

An AKC Canine Good Citizen test will be offered to enrollees on the last class day.

Any dog breeds and their humans are welcome to attend. All dogs must have proof of current vaccines, including Bordetella

Directions: I-75 South Bound.
Go south on I-75 to Exit 260 - Windy Hill Rd./Smyrna - Turn Left on Windy Hill Road for 0.7 miles. Turn right on Powers Ferry Road for 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Windy Ridge Pkwy, and then turn right into the first driveway. The parking garage is straight ahead.

Please be a responsible dog owner! Bring "pooper-scooper" materials and equipment, and your dog's drinking water, bowl, and favorite treats, and only use the designated exercise area. Also, bring a six-foot cloth or leather leash.
